SAM Training Programs
FAQs
Who should attend the SAM training program?
In our schools, SAM is relevant to elementary, secondary and higher education teachers;
administrators and staff; security personnel and program specialists;
high school and college students; and anyone who might have to deal with
agitated, angry or potentially aggressive individuals.
In the workplace, SAM is relevant for all employees and administrators. SAM training is even more important today as stress in the workplace continues to heighten because of increased work hours and responsibilities. The current expense reduction continues to force employers to stretch resources resulting in more stress and a greater likelihood of aggressive and unstable work environments.
What will I gain from the training program?
Participants in the SAM program will gain techniques to resolve conflicts
decisively and diplomatically regardless of age, size or strength, and
the valuable skills and strategies to prevent and diffuse aggressive
behavior.
Where is the training held?
For convenience and cost-effectiveness, most trainings are held on-site
at a date and time that’s convenient for you. Many clients choose to
incorporate SAM training into professional development plans.
How many hours are the training programs?
Session I is two hours and Session II is two hours. The combined Session
I and II is four hours.
Our school doesn’t have a history of violence. Is SAM still
of value to us?
Violence can happen anywhere, at anytime. SAM empowers individuals to effectively
and confidently handle threats, and prevent them from escalating into violence.
We encourage our clients, regardless of past experience, to be proactive
when it comes to protecting the health and safety of those who work and
attend their school. Training not only increases safety but reduces the
risk of liability.
Does SAM provide a guarantee?
We stand behind all of our training programs. If you are not satisfied
with a program, we will provide a full refund of the training fee.
